If you are interested in reducing the appearance of moderate to severe facial wrinkles, Perlane might be the dermal filler for you. Part of the next generation of dermal fillers, Perlane is primarily composed of a hyaluronic acid base. It is mainly used to treat the nasolabial folds – which run from the corners of the nose to the corners of the mouth – and other similarly deep facial wrinkles.

Hyaluronic acid is a natural component of healthy skin, contributing to elasticity and moisture. With the ability to hold 1,000 its own weight in water, hyaluronic acid can greatly increase facial volume to help ease the appearance of wrinkles. As the volume increases, your skin begins to become taut, smoothing wrinkles along the surface.
The main difference between Perlane and other hyaluronic acid fillers is that Perlane is chemically cross linked. This means that, at a molecular level, the hyaluronic acid in Perlane has stronger bonds. This helps Perlane resist breaking down, meaning you can enjoy the results of your injections longer.

Perlane Recovery

The results of your Perlane injections should be noticeable almost immediately. Some patients experience minor swelling, bruising, redness, and itching near the injection site. These conditions usually resolve themselves within a few days, although you may use a cold compress or take arnica to manage any discomfort. The results of your procedure should last for at least six months.

comma-1 I recently had my severe varicose veins corrected by Dr Shah using Endovenous Laser Ablation for the Saphenous veins followed by Micro-Phlebectomy for the residual Varicose veins.

I found the entire process to be very professionally done and with minimal discomfort. Dr Shah very patiently answered all my questions in detail, and took care to explain each step both before and during the procedures. The results have been excellent, and I can heartily recommend Dr Shah to anyone else who wants to get their varicose veins corrected. comma-2
